litters. His DNA Profile is
registered with the AKC.We also have another proven stud available to
qualified bitches, CH Metronome's Johann S Bark LH, CD, NAJ "Yoda". Yoda's
first litter had eight wonderful puppies. Three were placed in companion
(pet) homes. The
balance are actively being shown with three completing their championships
already ~~ Valor Dachs Kliner Schatz SL "Schatze," her sister, Valor Dachs Rhubarb
"Barbie," and Valor Dachs Bruno Maximus "Max." He has two sons who are currently being shown of which, Valor
Dachs Burlington Joe SL "BJ" is just two points away from his
championship and Valor Dachs Sohn der Johann SL
,"Hans" who is just restarting his show career beginning with the
Heart of America Dachshund Specialty Show in Kansas City on August 26, 2005.

are interested in using Yoda for stud. We will furnish his DNA Profile,
Pedigree, and photos.
Hannah, finished her Championship at the Dachshund
Club of St. Louis Fall 2002 Specialty under Judge Gretchen Bernardi taking
Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Variety for her third
major win. The amazing aspect of Hannah's Championship is that she finished
from the Puppy Class at 10 months old. Hannah continues competing in
the performance events (Obedience, Agility, Field Trials, and Earthdog) We
brought this super little girl back to the Conformation Ring as a
"Specials" dog in the fall of 2003, beginning in the same
Specialty Show she finished, the Dachshund Club of St. Louis on September
18th. She picked up where she left off last year, Best of Opposite Sex to
Best of Variety. The next two days she was entered in the All-breed shows --
took BOV both days over other specials. She's BACK and has continued to win.
As of June, 2004, she retired again from the Conformation Ring so she
can concentrate on completing her performance titles. Hannah will be bred
back to her grandfather some time in 2006.
Contact us if you are interested in placing your
name on the wait list for puppies. OBTW, Hannah's grandfather is
AM/CAN CH D and D Sierra Spirit v Shoney
CD, JE, CGC, VC, "Spirit". For those of you
who remember, Spirit was BOV at Westminster. He went on to multiple Best in
Show wins and was the #1 Longhaired Dachshund for several years. These
should be some awesome puppies. If you like type and correct movement, put
your name on the wait list.
Valor Dachs Kennels does not breed until both the dog and the bitch are
Champions. We believe that the only reason to breed is to better the breed -
not to make money selling puppies.

Max is available for adoption to the right home. He is kind, gentle, and a very good watch dog with a very deep bark. Max is the third puppy from Katy and Yoda's first litter to finish. He has been invited to compete in the AKC/Eukanuba Invitational in Tampa, FL in January 2006. Way to go Max!!! Hannah is shown at her last show (Southeast MO KC - Cape Girardeau, MO) before retiring again from the Conformation Ring. She will be concentrating on completing her performance titles this fall. She will be bred back to her Grandfather, "Spirit", in 2006 We appoligize for the very poor quality picture and pose. She has a very straight top line and her angulation is perfect.
Schatze is shown completing her championship under judge J. C. Walton at the Spirit of the Heartland KC Show on May 3, 2004. Schatze will compete in the AKC/Eukanuba Invitational Show in Tampa, FL on January 15th. She will be bred later in the spring of 2005. Contact us for pedigree and puppy wait list information. Erik completed his Championship under Judge Richard Miller at the Burlington KC show on August 16, 2003.
It was a very hot day for an out-side show but Erik was a cool and energetic competitor. His presence in the ring was obvious. . . almost like a "here I am, look at me!" attitude. Erik sire is a creme and dame is a Black & Tan. He is a proven stud with four litters on the ground. CH Newberry's Anastasia Creme ML, "Annie" wins her championship at the Kishwaukee KC Show on July 7, 2004. Annie is scheduled to be bred again the spring of 2005. Her previous litter boasts of an 11 month old puppy two Best of Variety wins and a Group 1 in Hound Group, Best Puppy in Show
Annie competes in Field Trials also. Yoda ran a "clean run" and placed first in his Height Class at the Gateway Agility Club of Greater St. Louis on Sunday, July 27, 2003. With this win, Yoda
completes his 3rd Leg thus fulfilling the requirements for Novice Agility Jumpers with Weaves, NAJ. Yoda is the first Dachshund in the area to earn an Agility Title. All three of Yoda's qualifying wins were first places wins! Yoda has many talents. Obedience is one of them. Yoda is one of only two Champion Dachshunds to earn his Companion Dog (CD) obedience title last year. Here he is top scoring Novice B entry in the Dachshund Club of St. Louis 2002 Spring Specialty Show. Yoda, a breed Champion, has a High in Trial in Obedience win too. A rarity, especially in Dachshunds. Yoda finished second in the 8" Novice A Class (31 dogs entered) at the Greater Louisville Training Club Agility Trial on Sunday, November 10, 2002 to earn his first leg! A Video "capture" of Yoda clearing the Double Jump's bar by at least 10". He was very excited. This was his second leg in Jumpers with Weaves. He finished first in his class at the Gateway Agility Club of Suburban St. Louis Trial on Dec. 1, 2002. Katie has 16 Championship points, all 4 point major wins. Katie "Finishing" her Championship under Judge Anthony Clemento. This was a wonderful weekend as she won both Saturday and Sunday. Katie and Yoda relaxing at home on their deck. These two love to lay in the sunshine on cool springtime days. All of our dogs enjoy the run of the house as they are companions first and foremost. Hannah is our first champion to finish while being shown out of the Puppy Class. She was in 12 shows, winning 9 of them. She is shown here finishing under Breeder-judge, Gretchen Bernardi placing Winners Bitch, Best of Winners, and Best of Opposite Sex for her 3rd major win. Hannah is back! After finishing at 10 months out of the puppy class last September, 2002, Hannah returned to the show ring to win Best of Variety over other Specials. Not only did she do this today under Cole, but she won the other days she was exhibited too. Hannah is truly back. She is a great dog. Fluid motion, correct coat, deep keel, dynamite reach and drive, plus a temperament to die for. Watch for her wins.
