We believe that all of our Dachshunds are special. We train them in various venues so that they can not only participate in the Show Ring, but also we have lots of fun with them in Agility, Field Trials, Obedience, and Earthdog. Below are some pictures of our up-coming champions.

Hans, available to a Show Home

Hans is a proven show dog. He has been shown on a very limited basis in the Houston, Texas area until the death of one of his owners curtailed his career.

Hans

He has not been groomed. I'll do that in another couple of weeks to get him ready for September. But I think you can see what he looks like. He has an almost clear red coat.

Hans

He has great fluid movement and a loving temperament. He needs to be a special, well-loved dog and not relegated to a kennel with minimal human contact.

Hans

He finished second in the Dachshund Club of St. Louis Bred-By-Exhibitor Class at 7 months of age. There were 11 other entries in the class from which the Winners Dogs in a 5-point major also was shown. He will finish quickly when he is brought back out on the show circuit.

"BJ "~ Our very special Bred-by Exhibitor dog

BJ is shown winning under Judge Skip Herendeen at the Moberly KC show on June 5, 2004. BJ has taken of residence in his new home in Lawrence, Kansas where he is being properly spoiled -- correction, "ruint."

Max Takes First Major Win

NEWS FLASH, MAX is a Champion as of 7/16/05

Valor Dachs Bruno Maximus SL, "Max" is shown winning his first 3 pt major out of the Bred-by-Exhibitor Class. This was also Beth's first major win too at the Jefferson County KC Show on September 18, 2004

Max is Best of Winners at Ozarks KC Show

NEWS FLASH, MAX is a Champion as of 7/16/05

Valor Dachs Bruno Maximus SL, "Max", is shown winning under breeder-judge Gretchen Bernardi winning Best of Winners at the Springfield, MO show on November 6 and 7, 2004. Max also took BOW on Saturday too.

Rommie's 1st Best of Variety Win, October 2004

Valor Dachs Andromeda, "Rommie", is show with her owner and exhibitor, Grace Witt of Liberty, KS. Rommie is from our Annie's first litter. This little incredible dynamo has two BOV wins while only 11 months old!

Rommie's 2nd Best of Variety Win, October 2004

Valor Dachs Andromeda, "Rommie", repeated the next day as Best of Variety winner. We are very proud of this super litter girl.

Rommie takes a Group 1

Valor Dachs Andromeda, "Rommie," takes a Group 1 in the Puppy Hound Group at the Lawerence Kansas KC show in October 2004. She defeated several super dogs to take this fabulous win. Shown with the Owner/Exhibitor, Grace Witt, is Grace's daughter, Michaela. Michaela also shows Rommie in Junior Showmanship competition. Recently, at the Dachshund Club of St. Louis Specialty in December 2004, Michaela took Best Junior Handler with Rommie.

Rommie as a puppy

Valor Dachs Andromeda, "Rommie" is show here when she was only 8 weeks old. Already she is exhibiting that "hey, look at me, I'm a gorgeous show dog" attitude.

Rommie's 8 week old "Dare ya" picture

Valor Dachs Andromeda is show here at eight weeks. She seems to be saying, "I dare you not to pick me. I'm beautiful, I'm blonde, and I deserve first place"!

Boy it was HOT. Can you imagine Max in all that coat? He is a true show dog. Never slowed down. He owns the ring.

Still HOT but he spent some time in the shade after going BOW. He was munching on ice cubes to keep cool. Smart dog.
